Gallantry Technologies:

The company blows! Whatever you do don't make the same mistake I did and buy one of their shitty so-called  IP PBX servers.

I bought one last year and it was  $4000 mistake. Gallantry Technologies is based in California and they claim to have developed a Linux based server that functions as an IP PBX voice over IP telephone system, NAS firewall, DHCP server, DNS server, e-mail server, VPN, FTP server and a web hosting server. What a joke!  Gallantry Technologies brings true meaning to the old saying that,” if it sounds to good to be true it's probably not.”  Trust me Gallantry Technologies is nothing but a couple of Chinese morons operating out of their garage.  You'll probably laugh when I tell you this, but I have spent over 400 hours trying to get their piece of shit server to work.  I'd like to give you a brief history of my experiences with Gallantry Technology's and I hope you won't make the same mistake I did.

I bought their shitty GW1000 server less than a year ago. I was in the market primarily for an IP PBX voice over IP phone system at a reasonable price.  James Lu sold me, especially on the advanced PBX voicemail system that my company desperately needed.  To my amazement as soon as I received the server, with the expectation of having a voicemail system I found out that the software for the IP PBX was still in development.  They were finishing the final touches on the new version of Gallantry Technologiesv4.2.1. Of course they waited until I spent about $5,000 having my office completed a rewired, replacing standard telephone wire with Ethernet cable and then  I spent about another $400 rewiring my existing PSTN lines which was necessary for the GW1000. The process of converting a standard telephone system into a voice over IP system is reasonably stressful because you're telephone system is in limbo until the transition is complete.  Of course Bozos Gallantry Technologies waited until my telephone system was in total chaos before they decided to move back to China for about three months.  After waiting about two days for a return phone call from these scumbags I had to pay my telephone system company to come back and completely rewire everything  to its original state.  Naturally I was pissed off as hell and called their corporate office every day, three times a day for months. Finally, I suppose just out of luck and Mr. James Lu probably accidentally picked up the phone and decided he was going to help me out after all.  This was another major mistake and I should've just cut my losses but James convinced me that Gallantry technologies would come to the rescue.  Foolishly, because I was absolutely unwilling to admit I made such a mistake I called the telephone system company back and converted my phone system over their pile of shit Gallantry Technologies GW1000.  The computer worked for about a month before I started having major problems.  This time Mr. James Lu to the new approach.  He decided that it was my fault and that the computer was malfunctioning and basically hung dead up in my ear.  Whatever you do, please don't make the mistake I did.
